After attempting to trade for him at the deadline, Brian Burke traded the Leafs 2nd round pick in 2012 for John-Michael Liles of the Colorado Avalanche.
Heading into what the media are calling his most important off-season yet (I think they’ve all been important so far), Brian Burke has a slew of options, a lot of headache, in the massive challenge of getting a number one center.
Over the weekend I had the pleasure of watching a couple of classic Leaf playoff games. The first one was 1993, game 4, Toronto and Los Angeles. The Leafs won it by a score of 4-2.
I have heard that Grabovski and Kulemin lead a group of Leafs to train over the summer somewhere in California.
This is good.
Kulemin is a hard core workout guy and it shows in his play night after night. Same with Grabovski, who this year surprised me with his dogged play, he was always pushing, always threatening.
