Some of the Bruins games this year have certainly been a bit lackluster. For some reason, that great cohesion and sense of teamwork we saw so much of last year has been missing in far too many games.

Andrei Markov, of the Montreal Canadiens, was injured during a 3rd period collision with team-mate Goalie Carey Price suffering a lacerated tendon in his ankle, Thursday night’s league-opener. The 2-time all-star defenseman was taken to a Toronto hospital. He is expected to be out for up to 4 months.
