The Kings ended a five game road trip on Monday night in Sunrise, Florida with another huge win. The Kings took on the Florida Panthers at the Bank Atlantic Center. If the first month of the 2009-10 NHL season has taught hockey fans anything, it’s to forget expectations.

What was thought to be a high scoring matchup ended up being somewhat of a scoring struggle as the Kings edged The Blues 2-1 tonight at Savvis Center.
Ryan Smyth and former Blue Michael Handzus scored for the Kings. Alexander Steen scored the lone goal for the Blues.
