A Winter Classic Miracle for Boston

Last time I wrote for this blog I stated I wasn’t really excited about the upcoming Winter Classic, even though my favorite team, the Boston Bruins would be in it this year. After watching the game yesterday against the Philadelphia Flyers, and having some time to reflect on it, I can say it was a great day. If the first month of the 2009-10 NHL season has taught hockey fans anything, it’s to forget expectations.

The Tampa Bay Lightning (4-3-4) challenge the Philadelphia Flyers (6-4-1) in a 5:00 start at the Wachovia Center. The Bolts have not won a road game since March and the Flyers have taken the last 3 of 4 in their rink.
