A Drought May End:
With every year a postseason drought may end while another will start. Some teams continue to excel while others keep drowning in their sorrows. A team may gain another ring while another team goes ring-less. With the season half way over and Olympic hockey going full speed, teams will be looking to keep their Lord Stanley dreams alive. Therefore, a drought is inevitable for every team this year...

“No not Smitty, it was Nitty!” What an majestic performance by Tampa Bay Lightning net-minder Nittymaki who had 31 saves on 33 shots including preventing a late tie-breaking opportunity from Florida’s David Booth to earn an assist on the go ahead goal.  Those plays turned out to be the edge in Tampa’s second straight win with him in the net. Nobody on either side looked awake...

PRE GAME ANALYSIS: PANTHERS vs LIGHTNING
Coming off of an uplifting 5-2 win over division rival Carolina Hurricanes, the Tampa Bay Lightning host the Florida Panthers. Tampa rode Ryan Malone’s hat trick, capped by a gutsy diving shot into an empty net, to their first victory of the young season. The ‘Bolts have only lost 1 game in regulation and sit a mere 1 point behind the division leader, that’s the glass half full version. ...
