With the latest CBA’s introduction of a salary cap, the NHL hasn’t been quite the same since.  The salary cap brings  a new dimension, another layer of complexity, to building a team that couldn’t have been dreamed of in a pre-cap era.  Today, deals are made sometimes strictly for cap relief.  In other words, teams will actually give away talent for free just so that they can...

NHL INJURIES: BLUES' JACKMAN SIDELINED WITH ANKLE SPRAIN
STLtoday.com reports that Blues’ defenseman Barret Jackman has been placed on the injury reserve after spraining his ankle in their 4-2 loss to Atlanta last night.  The Blues’ 1999 1st round pick has 2 assists in the three games they’ve played this season, and will be out for at least 7 days.  Read More →

Some of you may have seen this, most of you haven’t.  There is a blogger in Dallas, who claims to be hockey.  He goes by the name Razor.  On the 29th of September, the Dallas Donker made this guarantee.  In case Donk Razor ever decides to take down his page, which I would if I completely humiliated myself and removed all credibility I had with a donk-ass guarantee and decided not to man-up...

Kopitar displaying the type of dirty skils he can lay on goalies, is expected to get 40 goals this season   Everyone has a breakout season.  Everyone.  For Crosby, it was his rookie season with 102 points.  For Joe Thornton, it was in the ‘02-’03 season(his 6th) when he upgraded from 68 points to 101.  The following players below are players who I feel have not yet met their true...
